I got back from the buttcrack of Maryland almost a month ago, then needed a couple of weeks to recover. Opera Boot Camp is what it was: chaos, mingled with much perspiration, bugs and fast food. Nuff said.

I don't have to go away til mid-October, to do Carmen in Anchorage (yay!). Still hoping we can do dinner. I'm glad to see you're writing again!
