I love how your stories are so descriptive...which makes them sound boring. But I mean that I always feel like I'm in the place, and you manage to find the beauty in it even when the place is ugly. Like, some people just pretty things up--they say it's ugly but then it's beautiful. But here I can feel how uncomfortable this place is, how chilly it must be, and even while Dean's washing and must be loving the hot water I'm thinking of how much nicer a shower would be. But I can still see the beauty that Cass is seeing watching him, and the coldness when he's outside in the moonlight.
My favorite detail was the sound of him coming and it falling on the leaves. It was so immediate and real and sad, but just real the way it would be. Cass is very very human now.
