Oh, I think 5:04 got a LOT of people (myself included) shipping Dean and Castiel even if they never had before. Seriously, the dynamic between all the Deans and Castiels, Past and Future, was so ridiculously off the charts...the SPN Newsletter practically exploded with Dean/Castiel fics after that episode aired, I've never seen anything like it. And just...the whole post-apoc thing was so in my wheelhouse I can't even begin to tell you. And yes, I don't see Dean and Castiel together but I sure see Cass and Dean together or at least a very human Cass falling in love with Dean on a very non-spiritual level and poof go the brain cells. Plus THIGH HOLSTER.
