Because this is simply incredible and amazing and gorgeous and powerful and bleak and so full of love that it shines through in this dark, post-apocalyptic world. Not matter what happened, no matter how desperate and dire the circumstances, no matter what Dean did and said, Cass never gave up - and never would. Cass got his Dean and it was glorious. And I just love that it was in essence Cass' utter faith in Dean that meant he was able to save him, that he found Anna when he did.
Lovely touch as well to bring it full circle back to Amy, and oh, poor Cass for a moment there; so sure that Dean was going to spend the night with Amy, send Cass away to a dark, cold bed alone.
So bleak and yet so beautiful - thank you for the dedication though I feel it's rather undeserved! But if that picture inspired this, then amen to that! And don't think I didn't notice the wee moment of Dean strapping on his thigh holster... :o)
