What's a girl gotta do for some nice, quick, gratuitous, gen Dean-Cas h/c fic? Any suggestions? I'll take any hurt -- fevers, curses, gunshots, flus, you name it. Preferably Dean's the hurting one. But that's kinda screwed if Cas is still an angel, because he can just cure it. Hmmm. Sigh.

I've decided that I only have one thing on my S7 wishlist: I want Dean and Cas to hug. Just once, but with feeling. For heaven's sake. Isn't it about time? Hug it out, ya pretty bastards!

Back in 2009 I used to spend a lot of time reading every Dean/Cas fic I could get a hold of, a lot of it H/C. I wish I had it bookmarked.

This one is a longer, multichap with some h/c mixed in there too. I just love her writing style (just a head's up that there are some grammatical errors, though) and the way she integrates other mythology/literary characters into the SPN universe. And the D/C stuff is hawt!

sorry for the self-pimp, but you did say quick, gratuitous, gen Dean-Cas /h/c (emphasis on the shameless and gratuitous, in this case))....I've written a few others but they aren't gen....

I still haven't watched the last bits of S6, but if S7 involves a hug, sign me up :)

Oh, I almost forgot. tracy_loo_who has a pretty comprehensive Dean/Cas recs list. It's kind of hit or miss but you may find something that works for you in the place where our tasts diverge.
