I've been trying to think of genre shows that I've carried on loving over multiple seasons and it's difficult - even the real greats like Buffy, The X-Files and Babylon 5 didn't manage it. I can't really count Dr Who because it reinvents itself every few years and has had stretches far worse than anything we've seen on SPN (Bonnie Langford, *shudders*), so I suppose the only one I can think of was Star Trek: The Next Generation.
