QUESTION: For watchers of Supernatural:

Do you know in what states Ellen and Bobby, respectively, live? Is it ever mentioned? Checked episode recaps but couldn't find anything. Thanks!

Bobby lives in South Dakota (in 'Devil's Trap' you can see the SD license plate on his truck and I believe it's outright named in 'Born Under a Bad Sign') and it's inferred that Ellen lives in Nebraska (a family comes into the Roadhouse wearing 'Nebraska is for Lovers' t-shirts and one time the boys were listening to a Nebraska radio station en route).

Did Ellen live at the Roadhouse? It got blown up, right? Well, I'm gonna imagine that Ellen had her own house. Living at the Roadhouse would have sucked anyway.

We had some disturbing conversations this weekend about Ellen shacking up with (and getting it on with) Bobby. I think she's sadly been robbed of some red-hot John Winchester sex by said John Winchester selling his soul to the Federal Marshall.

Oh, no, you're not alone on this one. All these cute little things that Dean takes home from bars/diners/alleys - there's no real challenge or spark there for him. That's just playtime. What he needs is a woman who can take him in hand, and Ellen fits that bill.

Seriously, it's strange because she has such different interactions with Sam - firmly in the mother-figure category. But there's something different about how she and Dean interact, like you would not be surprised if all of a sudden they just whipped off their clothes, hopped up on the bar and had at it.
