Alright, fill me in. I got to what about exactly HALF of this! My telephone rang and I couldn't disentangle myself from the call until the show was over. The last thing I remember was the scene in the Demon Bar when they killed the British guy. Then what happened?

Only "superspoilers" for that particular episode, which you've already seen. No spoilers for the season or anything like that.

I'm SO glad I didn't really get into it until late August because I only had about six weeks to wait for the new season to start. I didn't have to AGONIZE over the WHOLE SUMMER!!

Obviously I haven't seen it (apparently, even if I could unravel the mysteries of download I'm not allowed to grab the iTunes copy because of being in the UK) but having trawled past loads of people whining about the ep, I just wanted to say that it's really nice to find a bit of squeeing on my FL.

I think some viewers were expecting a big emotional gut-punch from the premiere and feel let down that they didn't get it. This was a very "standard" episode but that doesn't mean it wasn't fun as hell. Dean didn't get slapped around enough and I don't really know where they're going with this Ruby chick (her name in the credits as a co-star, not as a "guest star" seems ominous), but otherwise I was able to turn off my over-analytical nature and enjoy myself immensely.
