At last, some good news.

Al Gore wins Nobel Peace Prize.

Of course this won't make the Republicans and most of the American press stop ridiculing him, but at least the rest of the world isn't on board with such junior high-level antics.

Yay! I just donated to the Arbor Day Fund yesterday. I finally forced myself to watch An Inconvenient Truth--Global Warming kind of terrifies me all the time so I was almost afraid to see it.

Love that even in that article there's a Fox News guy claiming that he's just pushing his "agenda." Yeah, that selfish Gore and his agenda. Ice-hugger! Hurricane-hater!

Al Gore will never be anything but a dork and a stuffed shirt to a lot of people in this country and it's a pity. Finally, someone we can be proud of and we don't even appreciate him. What's that line about a prophet always being rejected in his own country?
