I went to look at Christmas trees today. Had intended not to bother putting one up...I don't know, since the dog died, it just seems pointless. NOT that Daisy gave two hoots about the tree but still she was like...the baby. It was fun to put up the tree when she was around. Now, not so much. Hard to explain. No baby, no tree, no Christmas.

But after this week's episode of Supernatural...my God, I have to put up a tree. I have to do it for Winchesters. And I'm going to watch that episode while I do it, too. In fact, I'll bet that episode becomes standard holiday viewing chez Oselle, right up there with A Charlie Brown Christmas and It's A Wonderful Life. I'm gonna put up a tree and watch that episode and get drunk and bawl my frigging eyes out. So there.

"Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" was playing at the tree place. In fact, guess what? It was playing EVERYWHERE I WENT today. What the fudge? Of course it was.

I'm just in a state over that episode. I'm sort of glad the show won't be back until late January or so, so that I can bask in the goodness for a little while longer, without being shocked back into grim network reality by another appearance of Bela.

One nitpick though -- Dean? Is just too good-looking. Just...it's distracting. During that whole intensely sad and beautifully acted scene where he was talking to Sam about his "last year," an entire portion of my brain was saying,

"Wow, that's really sad, Dean, but can we fuck right here? Can we fuck on the floor, right here, can we just fuck like fucking bunny rabbits on this filthy, disgusting, unspeakable motel floor right here? Can we? Can we do it now? Like, right now? Like, right this second, don't say another word, just get on the floor, take your clothes off, oh, can we just FUCK. RIGHT. NOW, YOU MAGNIFICENT GORGEOUS FUCKABLE BASTARD? CAN WE FUCKING DO THAT PLEASE!?!?!"

Ahem.

How can I watch the show if this keeps up? He's too good-looking for his own good. Or mine, apparently.

Yes, I think that episode of Supernatural is going to be a tradition for a lot of us fans. In fact I'm feeling the urge to watch it again now.
