John Winchester (aka Jeffrey Dean Morgan) needs to stop being all cute in those PS I Love You commercials because every time he flashes those dimples I think how much Sam looks like him. Now, Dean, he must take after his Mom, but then he's definitely got his Dad's posture and charm and THESE ARE NOT REAL PEOPLE. THEY ARE NOT RELATED.

In other news, BadInfluencebaylorsr has written a charming Supernatural Christmas fic, all about the joys of Minnesota winters and extra-friendly neighbors: A Christmas Carol. Merry Christmas, all!

I was so excited when I saw that he's in that movie. He really is a great looking, appealing guy. Unfortunately the movie isn't opening at our theaters tomorrow. Maybe next week, I hope. Baylor's fic is fantastic, isn't it? I enjoyed it so much.

I'm amazed by how appealing he is because I didn't get that from him at all in Supernatural, but I think that was sort of intentional. Loved Baylor's fic -- anything in Minnesota, which is the ultimate fandom vortex, works for me. Did you get the references to the "Conners from Ohio?"

It's most probably right. Perhaps Dean does take after his mom and that makes John difficult to even look at him, since he loves Mary so much and he misses her so much.

Though of course John loves Dean, Daddy Winchester ends up loving Sam more. And that makes Dean more desperate. He tries so hard, does everything asked of him, in order for John to show that he does love Dean. But those Winchester men are all stubborn.

Well, that, at least, is what I read a lot in fanfics. :D

When I first saw these movie commercials I was struck by how cute and young he looked. They really aged him for Supernatural -- he's just over ten years older than Jensen Ackles. I see him more in Sam than in Dean but I have to look for those pix you're talking about even though THESE ARE NOT REAL PEOPLE and THEY ARE NOT RELATED.
