For those of you not interested in debating the many intricacies of Supernatural, here's a fun little poll.

Guess when the following passage was written:

[Poll #1148434]

If you picked "March 2008," congratulations.

You can read more about women's innate abilities and deficiences HERE, but ladies...please don't tax your tiny, dim brains. You've got to save them for more important things like tending to children, men, the weak and of course, your decorating scheme.

Think I'll go bake some cookies now!

Somebody please kick her out of our gender.

I can't believe anyone in their right mind published that shit.

Mmmmm, cookies! I think I'll just walk off the job right now and go home to bake!

This had to be a "joke", right? Except, not funny.

The Washington Post is now trying to say it was a joke. Of course, we dim broads just didn't get it.

A lot of people are idiots. A lot of men are idiots. A lot of women are idiots.

The woman who wrote THIS:

Then we could shriek and swoon and gossip and read chick lit to our hearts' content and not mind the fact that way down deep, we are . . . kind of dim.

... is certainly 'kind of dim' herself and a stonking great idiot in her own right.

If this is all part of the great anti-feminist backlash, is that really the best they can do???? (To quote Movie Theoden.)

My goodness me.

The article is pathetic and if it had appeared on some conservative blog or right-wing talk radio program it would have been just mock-worthy. But it was on the front cover of a section of The Washington Post and I have no fucking idea what kind of jackass thought that was a good idea.

For some reason I was particularly struck by how Hillary Clinton hires people for their loyalty, as if that's a girl thing, given the guy currently in charge.

Sadly, I'm not good at any of those things! I'm dim and talentless!

That got to me, too. Has this broad been in a coma for the past eight years? Gonzo? Brownie? Rummy? I guess it's okay to her when a guy does it. That's probably "manly loyalty" or some shit, but when a woman does it, she's being a cliquey bitch. Who the hell knows? The author of this article is clearly unhinged.

oh my goodness, now i can stop worrying about my career and grad school, and devote myself to home decorating and nurturing. what a relief! *goes to put on cute little frilly apron before hubby gets home*

it's absolutely mind-boggling that ANY paper would print such utter drivel.

i'd be insulted, if only i were bright enough.

I know. I can't tell if I'm really insulted or if that's my dim, very small brain getting all confused.

I don't even think she speaks for herself. If she truly believed this claptrap, she'd be home nurturing her husband and kids instead of doing something so un-innate as writing essays. What gave this "dim" woman the idea she could write essays, anyway? Silly girl!

Wow, could you imagine if it was a black person writing about how blacks should just revel in tap-dancing and playing basketball and not mind the fact that way down deep they're...kind of dim?

Astounding dimness is certainly being displayed by that author.

You took the thoughts right out of my head, only I was thinking "rapping and basketball." Imagine the outrage?

I don't deny that women do tend to have talents for nurturing and caring for a home but...why is that always used to limit us? Men have innate abilities for heavy lifting but I never hear anyone say they should stick to being sanitation men or furniture movers and not worry their big fat heads about trying to be anything else.
