Okay, that picture of Jensen sleeping that I put in my last post? Since no one can quite place what show it's from, arabia764 and I have officially whipped ourselves up into a lather speculating that this is a behind-the-scenes shot of Jensen actually sleeping between takes. Can ANYONE place the shot? Anyone want to throw it up on dean_sam for us and let the masses have a go at it?

heh, i've been digging around since i saw it earlier - no luck so far, on any of the 'every-single-screenshot and/or still-ever' sites. my guess is that you're right that it's from SPN - the hair and watch certainly look like Dean's - but hey, i've been wrong before.

incidentally, there is some emotional-scar inducing/brain-bleach-requiring stuff you run across when you use "sleeping" or "asleep" in conjunction with "jensen ackles" in a search string.

I don't read RPS but if I'd ever had any inclination too, those page summaries would have put me right off it. I'm glad that a slightly more...mature segment of fandom seems to frequent LJ.

Superbly written, both of them, but esp the first one. 'The JPUP' was the first J2 fic that got me hooked into J2rps!

To think of all the years I watched this stupid soap opera when there was no Eric Brady on it!!

I wonder why Eric's living in such a crappy little apartment. The Bradys are loaded! They're the oldest family in Salem!! OMG was he...was he a...

Gosh, I have no idea. :D I just saw some clips of it and I was bored to death. Soap operas are so slow and they bore me. :P

All I really know Jensen on Days is that he was once again Sam's big brother -- Sami Brady in this case. In true soap opera tradition, I'll bet his character was introduced as if Sami's always had an older brother, although strangely, he'd never been mentioned before. I think Eric was supposed to have been away at military school or something (apparently for his entire life).

Sami went on to become something of a villainess on the show but at this stage she might still have been a good girl. Which would have made it perfect for the out-of-the-blue older brother to play the bad boy. Although I should note that soap opera bad boys are usually not very bad, especially when they're this cute, and they're almost inevitably redeemable, usually by the love of a good woman.
