A reminder for NYC-area Supernatural viewers:

New York's CW Channel 11 (which has mysteriously begun using its old "WPIX" call letters again) will be airing bullshit football tonight. Smallville will be broadcast this SATURDAY at 6 PM and Supernatural at 7 PM.

I'm sorry, but WHAT THE FUCK. Is it just me or does there now seem to be football on just about every fucking night of the week? Sunday Night Football. Monday Night Football. Now we've got Thursday Night Football. Aren't there cable channels for this shit?

And what's with "WPIX?" Talk about a blast from the past. I haven't heard Channel 11 referred to as WPIX in years. Is the CW folding?

I am very pissed that I'm going to have to wait a whole two days to get my weekly prettyboy dose. VERY VERY VERY PISSED.

I know I'm in the NYC are, I'm flipping out and I'm football fan..
I read a while ago that the CW was 'leaving' certain areas. I didn't know it was going back to WPIX, wow that is a blast from the past!!

When I hear "WPIX" all I can think of is The Yule Log. They've even got the old "11" logo back. It's kinda freaky.

I don't blame you a bit for being pissed off. Bones is one of my favorite shows, and they put baseball on in its place for several weeks and made me so mad I was ready to spit. There are several all-sports channels for the fans. Leave our SPN alone.

They pre-empted SPN with baseball in Chicago at the beginning of the season but at least in Chicago they aired the show later on the same night. I wouldn't mind so much if they were airing it at 11 pm tonight or something but I have to wait until SATURDAY!?
