This is what I took away from that episode:

1) Jesus Christ, Jensen Ackles with no shirt on is lethal. That was hot beyond hot. That scene will launch a jillion icons. I'm actually glad they doused it with that corny Titanic-inspired hand-on-the-car-window bit at the end because...phew. I hear spontaneous combustion is a really ugly way to go. Close one, there.

2) Jesus Christ, Jensen Ackles cries beautifully.

Other than that I have no idea what that episode was about. Or what any of it meant. What?

Anyone want to take a crack at explaining it? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?


ETA: When SPN goes off the air, can Castiel get a spinoff? No, really. Castiel suffers almost as beautifully as Dean.

Can we just have 40 minutes of Dean crying? Because that would make a lot more sense than anything else in this ep, not to mention be a lot more entertaining.

Also, I'm reaaaaalllly wanting some Castiel/Dean now. Just -- that look on Cas's face there t'ords the end. Awwwwww.

Jensen just continues to knock me flat. This ep had all the emotional power that last week's didn't. SERA GAMBLE NEEDS TO FIND ANOTHER SHOW TO DAMAGE. ASAP PLSKTHX.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I really want to see Dean pouring his heart out to Castiel about hell and Castiel just melting over Dean's BEAUTIFUL SUFFERING OMG.

I think if Dean speaks to Castiel, Castiel will hug him. Unlike Sam. :(
