I just realized something.

Some people have noted that the name of last week's SPN episode -- "After School Special" and not "Afterschool Special" -- was kind of odd. I thought it was because ABC might have trademarked the name "Afterschool Special" but I think I just figured out why they did it. Because they know the fandom turns all of the episode names into acronyms.

ASS. Get it? So now any discussion of "After School Special" is going to have ASS all over it.

Sigh.

Well, actually, good. I hope this is the end of the acronym crap. I'm sick of seeing alphabet soups littering every discussion about Supernatural. I mean really people...acronyms like AYTGIMDW and IKWYDLS are absolutely ludicrous. Is it really so hard to call it "Are You There..." or "I Know..." or something similarly abbreviated?

Personally I'd just call it 4.02 but, y'know. Crazy acronyms are clearly hipper. ;)

I knew other folks probably figured out the ASS thing before I did but it just hit me like a bolt from the blue and I know, I just KNOW without a doubt that's why they did it.

Oh yeah. So. I love ASS so much because in ASS, Dean looks gorgeous wearing red suit. I think Sam loves seeing Dean in ASS, too.

I have to admit that ASS is a great acronym for the episode because it was pretty much all about ASS for me, in fact you might say that ASS was the best thing about ASS. ASS made a great impression on me indeed.
