Mmmm, but fanfic would throw in some comfort to go with that hurt and Kripke better be coughing up some comfort within the next few episodes because otherwise Dean's just gonna be a battered zombie and yet OMG the man suffers like an angel. Better than an angel, actually.

I have yet to see any satisfying codas (comforting or even not so much) to this ep. I think the fandom is still half-stunned.
