I got all worked up about this video:

Yeah, so I got all worked up and wrote a whole post about how cute they are and then I noticed the old WB logo in the background and I realized this had to be old. Really old. I Googled "11th Annual Critics Choice Awards" and found out it was way back in 2006. Sigh. Is it just me or do we just never seem to see them dressed up like this anymore? What a pity. I thought Jensen had finally given up that scruffy-ass look he's been working for the past couple of months.

They don't horse around like this quite as much anymore either, do they?

Actually, that's probably for the best.

Jensen looks so young there. I wish we'd see them horse around like that nowadays. I miss seeing that.

I know, the way Jensen looked should have tipped me off to the age of this vid before the logo did but there was so much fresh squee about this video that I thought it was brand new. It's kind of amazing that it's never surfaced before now. LOL maybe TEH EVOL PR was suppressing it!!

I wish Jensen had let Jared peck him. That would have been something!! And I'm glad to see Jensen so smiley and Jared his bouncy self in that clip, they looked so serious ( and nervous? ) when they were presenting the award!

Jensen looks so taken by surprise that he probably thought he was getting mugged or something. I don't think he eve realized it was Jared until Jared had already fled the scene.

The date I came up with for these awards was January 9, 2006 -- SPN was just a little fledgling of a show back then! They'd only been on the air for a few months and didn't even know if they'd be getting a second season. No wonder J&J look nervous! How adorable they were!

I actually love the way Jensen holds Jared's hand. I think he doesn't really want to let Jared go. :)
