Late review because I spent the entire weekend at an agonizing workshop on space clearing and do me a favor, people? If you ever hear me say I'm attending any sort of New Agey self-help workshop or seminar (not including yoga, which actually yields some immediate, tangible benefits) please, please, PLEASE just say "Oselle, May 1st, 2011," and I will immediately come to my senses. Remember that fairy episode of SPN when Sam and Dean went to visit the fairy-expert lady and afterward Dean said, "I feel like I've got the crazy ON me?" Well that's how I felt all weekend. And now I'm going to go and take a very hot and very long shower to get the crazy OFF me. But before I go...

The absolute high point of that episode was the discussion of whether Castiel was or was not in Dean's ass. I realize it was a gratuitous sop to the fans, but I don't care. It was funny and I totally dug it so sop away. The next high point was the devastated look on Castiel's face when Dean called him "a baby in a trenchcoat." Dean, Dean, Dean. Treat Cas like that again and it's gonna be my FOOT up your ass. You've been warned.

OK, now I need a few details about the workshop. Sounds unforgettable! :D

Yeah, I actually lol'ed at the "get out of my ass" conversation. Poor, poor, baby Cas... How much clearer can it be that he loves Dean so very, very much?

Maybe once the trauma wears off, I'll write something about the workshop.

For now I only want to think about how Cas loves Dean so very, very much. Dean had better start treating him better!

Honestly, I would be thrilled if every single episode consisted only of "gratuitous sops" to the fans. What can I say; I'm easy. Give me what I want, that's all!

At this point, me too. Their plots are generally terrible, so if they want to make the whole show about Dean and Castiel trading double-entendres and giving each other awkward looks, I'd be delighted.

Dean called Cas a baby twice in this episode and a child earlier in the season. It's making me squirmy to ship them. Well that is until they start talking about each other's asses.

Yep, if we can't get a plot that make sense, I'm more than happy to take the fanservice.

Also yes, please do tell us about this workshop. *chinhands*

Yeah, the plot is a whole lot of 'whatever', so sign me up for gratuitous fanservice, please! The more and the trashier, the better. *waggle-waggle* >;D

I totally agree. I've completely given up on anything resembling story. Bring on the crack!

Who needs a plot when we can think about Dean's ass and Castiel's role in it?

I'm sorry but I think I just woke up the entire household with the noise I made when I read this line. Good job. ;)

AHAHAHA the look on Castiel's face in your icon says it all!

It's Cas' "I adore you, Dean," face.

That was a really fun episode, and I enjoyed those moments too. Castiel's looks in this ep were so much fun to watch. I did happen to note that at the police station Dean ganked the guy who was trying to kill Castiel before he did anything else or helped anyone else and it was probably his way of apologizing for breaking Castiel's heart a little at the diner.

Sorry about the crazy!

Dean loves him too, he's just not going to come out and say it. He's an "action speaks louder than words" kinda guy. I'd like the next actions to involve some awkward groping. Please.

Oh yes, he does love him! And Dean sure is an action kind of guy!

Seconding the please and I'd also take some I don't know... hypothermia scenario or getting stuck in a small space together or gosh, kissing or something. (For purely magical or magi-religious reasons, of course.) Come on, show! Three eps to go this season! You can do it. I believe in you! Surely they'll want to fanservice us at least a little harder.

Hypothermia would be DELICIOUS but you know what I'd really kill for even more than accidental groping? Some serious fanfic-style h/c, like where Dean is sick or hurt and Cas has to take care of him. Like they're holed up somewhere and Cas totally has to TAKE CARE OF HIM and now I'm babbling. Oh god. I'd fangirl this show forever. Or at least until my brains melted which they definitely would if I ever saw THAT on tv.

Oh, you are SO not alone on that.

Like they're holed up somewhere and Cas totally has to TAKE CARE OF HIM and now I'm babbling.

Well, first of all no one could ever fault a girl for babbling because of that. EVER. I'd faint with the joy of it and then faint all over again. And secondly... yes! Exactly like that!

And I'm not even picky about which one gets the comforting! As [livejournal.com profile] sistermagpie helpfully brought to my attention: That war is really tiring for Castiel. What if Castiel needed help recuperating?

I mean, I actually think I prefer Cas doing the comforting, but that Dean guy could really help a person feel better!

That war is really tiring for Castiel.

I got a little light-headed last week when Castiel was hurt and he was all bloody and fainty and stuff. But it totally should've been Dean there to take care of him. Nevertheless, my prurient fangirl fantasies all revolve around Dean being the one who needs the nursing. Fevers and gunshot wounds and fractures, oh MY!

*passes out*

Totally sucked that it was Bobby. Dean should've gotten the soulectomy. Also, yeah. Castiel would do it awkwardly, which would only make it More Awesome. If it was Dean. I heard he loves him very much.

I don't think I could have withstood hearing Castiel tell Dean that he had to touch it.

Heh I'd forgotten about that. This is a valid point. I would've been hyperventilating by then.
