The episode starts off with Dean sprawled out very prettily having a nightmare about losing Castiel. They try to make it look like he's having nightmares in general but it's pretty obvious that he's traumatized over Cas. Oh, Dean! I'm traumatized too! Castiel loved you so very, very much, and you loved him too and never let him know! And now he's gone! Wake up, Dean! Wake up to your empty, empty, Casless life!

Then some other stuff happens. Roll credits.

I think if you were a Buffy fan, it would at least have been a treat to see Spike and Cordelia in the same episode, but it didn't have much effect on me. I'm serious that the dream sequence was the highlight of the episode for me. Frankly, any time we get to see Dean sleeping, it's a highlight. I think I'd watch 40 minutes of him taking a nap.
