Hi there, dear readers.

It looks like people are really abandoning LiveJournal for good now. For all I know, it may already be shut down considering the appalling situation in Russia. I literally don't even want to go to that site, and I definitely don't want to log into anything that I know for certain is hosted on a Russian server.

I've gotten some scattered requests for a J2 story I wrote way, way back in 2010, named "Avalanche." This story is NOT on AO3 and I don't plan to post it there. I will no longer be checking messages on LJ, so if you really want to read Avalanche, please drop a comment below.

For this reason I have some problems explaining why I love this story so much but i want you to know that it is really very dear to me and that I reread it at least once a year for many years.
I would like to have a copy.
